Challenger warns of traffic delays as it prepares for oversized haul
HAMILTON, Ont. — Challenger is advising travellers and truckers that they may encounter nighttime delays between Hamilton and Toronto Jan. 7-11 as the company delivers six oversized pieces of equipment from the Port of Hamilton to Molson’s brewery.
Each load is 150-ft. long, 24-ft. wide and 27-ft. high and will require disruptions in traffic and utility services, Challenger warns.
The haul will take place between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m.
“Although Challenger…has worked closely with all stakeholders and has mapped out a route of minimal impact for the general public and local residents along the transportation route, it wants to advise the general public of these disruptions, so people have the opportunity to plan accordingly,” Challenger said in an advisory.

Isn’t this a convenient medium to advertise that they haul heavy/oversize loads and that a major customer is Molsons. If you log into the site as noted in the “article” it looks more like a boasting of look what I can do than it is of an advisory. Smart marketing and media manager they have. Get the trade magazines to do the advertising for you for free.
