BOUCHERVILLE, Que. – Isaac Instruments held its second annual user conference Nov. 17, bringing together a number of transport companies based in Quebec and all of Canada to review the future of transport technology.

During the event, Isaac revealed its intention to keep connecting more objects on the truck, including the engine, transmission, tires, trailer, shipment, speed limits, traffic conditions and cameras, all in line with the company’s mission to develop the ‘Internet of Trucks.’

New features announced by Isaac included the pooling of mobile data, production of detailed accident reports and the integration of CoPilot on the tablet’s dashboard.

Through the use of ‘big data’, Isaac hopes to provide transporters with the means to develop business intelligence to help meet their business objectives.

Isaac designs and manufactures technological solutions to enable truck fleets to improve performance, productivity, compliance and safety.

Those who attended the user conference were able to see firsthand demonstrations of the company’s new features and participate in the ‘voice of customer’ workshop to share ideas and discuss their company needs with Isaac.
