Hamilton-Niagara Fleet Safety Council to focus on medical marijuana in annual seminar

by Truck News

BURLINGTON, Ont. – This year, the Hamilton-Niagara Fleet Safety Council’s annual seminar will be dealing with the highs…and lows of medical marijuana in the trucking industry.

The seminar’s purpose is to have trucking executives and fleet managers answer: Do your policies stand up to the test of a labour dispute? Presentations will be given by Dr. Barry Kurtzer, a medical marijuana expert, and labour and employment lawyer Leanne E. Standryk.

The seminar is set for March 31, 2016 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Kings Court Banquet Centre in Burlington, Ont. Tickets are $35 and the seminar includes a hot buffet breakfast.
