CALEDONIA, Ont. — Kim Richardson Transportation Specialists has been nominated for the Mayor’s Community Service Award in Caledonia. KRTS made the list for its Honk for Hunger initiative, which has collected more than 127,000 lbs of donations for the food bank over the past six years.

“Our associates at KRTS organize the event and many volunteers with the majority being youth in our community really make this event a success. We are very thankful for their dedication for their contribution of their time and energy,” said Kim Richardson, president of KRTS.

The Mayor’s Community Service Award winner will be announced on Feb. 8 at a dinner held by the Caledonia Chamber of Commerce.
