Trucker Radio News & Talk tackles some weighty issues in the Jan. 16 edition, available now on TruckerRadioTalk.com.

Professional driver and Truck News reporter Harry Rudolfs talks about the health of truckers and discusses a new fold-up bike that can be easily packed into a truck cab. He is followed up by Melodie Champion of the Healthy Trucker program, who talks about the ongoing Canada vs US Healthy Fleet Challenge.

Professional driver Guy Broderick jumps in, to discuss electronic on-board recorders. Think he’s a fan? Have a listen to find out.

Truck News editor James Menzies has an interview with David Bradley on the most pressing policy issues the industry will face in 2015. Menzies also provides an update on the US-Mexico trucking relationship. With Mexican trucks soon to be allowed to deliver into the US, is there anything stopping them from travelling into Canada? And should we be concerned?

As always, Tim Denis has news headlines and the Dufus Driver Report. The weekly trucking news and talk program can be listened to from your computer or mobile device.

Show host, Stan Campbell, is also looking for new guests and topics. Have an idea or feedback on the show? Drop him a line here: http://www.truckerradiotalk.com/contact.html

  • Hi-the Mexican trucks allowed in U.S.A. and Canada obviously employment for our drivers will be affected, as due to the present low wages for “Line-Drivers” in Canada there is a “major” Professional Driver shortage already! It is my opinion Canada is planning a “Third World” level of existence for the populace in place of the “Middle Class” we once enjoyed! When will the people of CANADA speak up before It’s too late!
