Survey looks to gather input from truckers on B.C. rest areas
LANGLEY, B.C. – The British Columbia Trucking Association (BCTA) is searching for input from commercial truck drivers in an effort to help make improvements to rest areas throughout the province.
Assisting the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the voluntary survey takes about 12 minutes to complete and is completely confidential. The BCTA advises participants to read the consent statement prior to submitting the survey, and said truck drivers operating in B.C. from other jurisdictions are welcome to take part.
The survey is part of the ministry’s efforts to work with the trucking industry to pinpoint locations in B.C. for new and expanded parking, staging, inspection pullouts and chain-up/off areas, which was a priority outlined in the province’s transportation plan, ‘B.C. on the Move’, released last year.

First and foremost the bathroom facilities are arcaic, and also if we have to use these primitive shitholes at least clean them the last two times I used them reminded me of a scene in a movie train spotting a bathroom in Scotland. take it from there.
