ABBOTSFORD, B.C. — The Truxpo trade show this year will welcome the Pacific Heavy Equipment Show (PHES) to its venue, co-existing Sept. 19-20 at the Tradex Centre.

The combined show will fill the entire Tradex complex, 80,000 sq.-ft. of outdoor space and now will feature three additional acres of outdoor exhibits, according to show organizers Master Promotions.

Truxpo itself is already 70% sold out, according to organizers.

“We are very pleased with the 2014 Booth Space Lottery, with all the major players back and some exciting additions to the exhibitor list,” said Mark Cusack, national show manager. “With such a strong start, we are optimistic we will sell out by April for the 2014 edition.”

PHES will attract heavy equipment owners, operators and purchasers representing construction, trucking, public works, utility and aggregates and roadbuilding companies.

“We are excited about co-locating these two industry events in one large venue. It is a well-known fact that the heavy equipment and trucking industries have a great deal to do with one another. Whether you are talking about a small vocational operation or large forestry contractor, you will find trucks, trailers and heavy equipment. This is exactly what we will deliver in September,” said Cusack. “The cross-over in audience and exhibitors is the recipe to make this show a huge success.”
