OTC has unveiled a new transmission jack adapter — the OTC 1797 heavy-duty clutch adapter — designed to handle heavy-duty clutch assemblies during service.

It features universal mounting slots in the base to support most high- and low-lift transmission jacks.

With these mounting slots, technicians can use just one adapter for a wide variety of repair jobs, the company says.

A built-in splined adapter mount also rotates to help align the clutch spline and flywheel. Safety straps hold the clutch securely to the jack, while the clutch handler adapter can be used with 10- and 14-splined adapters.
