Stemco’s Discover XR wheel seal, previously limited to Trifecta pre-adjusted hub assemblies, is now available as a standalone product.

The seal’s GlideLock reduces installation forces by 50% and does not require prelube, the company says, noting that helps to address concerns about seal failures linked to cocked seals and excessive heat.

The seal can also be removed without tools, and locks using anti-rotational features, Stemco adds. A four-zone labyrinth, meanwhile, helps block contaminants, reduces wear, and extends seal life.
