Lite-Sentry notifies drivers of trailer chassis lighting failures

by Truck News

SANTA FE SRINGS, Calif. — A new product from Phillips Industries notifies drivers when a trailer chassis light is out so they can take action before enforcement does.

The Lite-Sentry can help eliminate CSA violations for non-working exterior lights, the company claims.

The system monitors the exterior trailer lighting for failures and notifies the driver through an indicator light mounted on the front of the trailer so that a repair can be made immediately.

It is integrated and sealed into a Phillips Sta-Dry electrical harness and designed to work with all 12-volt LED exterior trailer lighting that draws more than 19 milliamps.

The current product works with chassis only, however the line will be expanded to include other trailer configurations as well, Phillips announced. For more info visit www.phillipsind.com.
