Wabco acquires Canadian manufacturer of aerodynamic devices

BRUSSELS, Belgium – Wabco announced today that it has acquired Laydon Composites Ltd. (LCL), a manufacturer of aerodynamic devices for heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

With the acquisition, Wabco says it is the only supplier that provides a full range of aerodynamic devices for commercial vehicles worldwide. The acquisition also creates growth opportunities for both companies, Wabco said. WABCO LCL Aerodynamics 04_2016 - FINAL

In 2015, LCL generated $25 million. It is headquartered in Oakville, Ontario and was previously previously privately owned and operated.
