Meritor extends hours for emergency and unit down orders
FLORENCE, Ky. — Meritor announced today that it is extending emergency and unit-down ordering hours for its Florence, Kentucky and Brampton, Ontario, distribution centres. Going forward, daily hours for ground freight orders will be extended to 4:30 p.m. EST.
“This change is in direct response to customer feedback,” said Danelle Carter, director, Global Customer Care for Meritor. “We are pleased to accommodate customer requests, especially when it can have such a positive impact on daily business activity.”
Before the change, the cut-off time for emergency and unit-down orders was 3 p.m. EST.
Meritor added that air freight emergency and unit-down orders will continue to be accepted until 5:30 p.m. EST.
