Drivewyze Safety+ brings customizable alerts into the cab
The new Safety+ service from Drivewyze is bringing customizable proactive driving alerts and coaching features into the cab.
The messages are delivered through the same Drivewyze software platform powering more than 2.2 million ELDs today.
It builds on the existing Drivewyze Safety Notifications service, which offers audible and visual cues when drivers are approaching an area that requires more caution, such as corners that are known for equipment rollovers. Safety+ takes an additional step by allowing those in the back office to create customized alerts and access safety analytics.
In nine states, Drivewyze Safety+ will also notify drivers about the number of parking spaces in an approaching rest area.
Risk Zone Alerts identify more than 2,500 high-risk areas, while proactive speed alerts warn drivers of areas known for speeding violations. Fleets can use the Drivewyze Hub portal to geofence their own high-risk areas to deliver custom messages.
It is available as a standalone safety service or can be integrated into a fleet’s existing safety platforms, the company says.
