2025 PMTC awards nominations open

The 2025 Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) awards program is open for entries.

The program includes the Rick Austin memorial dispatcher award, vehicle graphics design awards competition, Canadian hall of fame for professional drivers, private fleet safety awards, professional CMV driver training scholarship, and young leaders’ education bursary.

The awards will be presented during the annual conference at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre in Niagara Falls, Ont. from June 17 to 19, according to a news release.

For competition entry forms and details, click here. The deadline to enter is April 30.

Meanwhile, PMTC and Ontario Truck Driving School announced in a release that the ninth annual PMTC Canadian Private Fleet benchmarking survey instrument is live.

This study is open for completion by all private fleets which have a base of operations in Canada. PMTC Membership is not a requirement.

The report will be released by July, and an overview will be provided at the PMTC’s annual conference on June 18.
