Ace Doran acquires NHH Services equipment, adds heavy-haul capacity
Ace Doran has expanded its specialized transportation capabilities with the acquisition of NHH Services’ equipment operations, adding 50 trucks and an experienced heavy-haul team to its network.
The Cincinnati-based carrier announced Feb. 25 that former employees, contractors, drivers and agents from Tipton, Ind.-based NHH Services will join Ace Doran as a newly formed division.

Founded in 2012, NHH Services provides heavy haul, flatbed, general freight and project-based transportation services across the United States and Canada. The deal strengthens Ace Doran’s presence in the Midwest while enhancing its ability to support complex and oversized freight movements.
“We are excited to welcome the outstanding team of agents, contractors and employees from NHH Services into the Ace Doran family,” said Jim Collins, president of Ace Doran. “Their strong customer relationships and heavy-haul expertise further expand our footprint in the heavy-haul market and strengthen our ability to support complex transportation needs nationwide.”
Ace Doran said the acquisition builds on its broader growth strategy focused on expanding specialized capacity through targeted additions of experienced teams. The company refreshed its RoadMasters division in 2025, growing its presence in the U.S. Southwest, and said the latest transaction continues that approach.
NHH Services was founded by third- and fourth-generation trucking professionals and developed a reputation in project freight and owner-operator-focused operations. The integration brings additional drivers, operational staff and specialized expertise into Ace Doran’s flatbed and open-deck transportation offerings.
Company officials said the move will allow Ace Doran to provide expanded heavy-haul capacity and more customized transportation offerings for customers moving complex freight across North America.
