Automann breaks ground for Caledon, Ont., distribution center
Heavy-duty truck and trailer part distributor Automann broke ground for its new distribution center in Caledon, Ont.
Located 14 km northwest of Automann’s current Brampton facility, the 333,363 sq.-ft. (30,970 sq.-m.) facility on 14 acres will enhance service and distribution capabilities across the Canadian market, according to the company.
This facility is designed for efficiency and future growth, featuring 40-ft. clear height, 27 dock doors, three drive-in doors, and EV charging for eight vehicles.
To promote sustainability, the building is constructed to support future rooftop solar installation and incorporates high-efficiency fixtures and drought-tolerant landscaping to reduce overall water use.
