UPDATED: Falcon Xpress exits receivership
Falcon Xpress has secured new financing and emerged from receivership.
The company was placed into receivership in May, owing RBC more than $15 million.
The company emerged from receivership June 9 after securing alternative financing and paying off its RBC debt. The complete discharge order can be read here.
The company noted in a statement it maintained full operations throughout the proceedings, serving customers without interruption and ensuring drivers and staff were paid.
“Our commitment to our customers, drivers, and employees never wavered,” the company said in a statement to trucknews.com.
The company was founded in 2004 by Jarnail Singh Sidhu with a single truck and a mission statement to “do right by people, deliver on your promises and never forget where you came from.”
Today it operates more than 200 power units.
“The receivership was the result of an unexpected delay in refinancing, not an operational failure,” the company emphasized via a spokesperson. “At no point did our operations stop. Operations continued as usual, all thanks to our amazing team and their resilience.”
“This isn’t just the end of receivership — it’s the start of a more focused, resilient Falcon Xpress,” the statement continued. “Thank you to our team, drivers, partners, and customers for standing by us. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to the road ahead.”
