Third-party logistics provider ISG Direct has taken an equity stake in Bolton Cargo.

“This is a strategic move that will not only enhance ISG’s asset capabilities, but will also strengthen [our] ability to deliver success to ISG’s current roster of clients throughout North America,” the company said in an announcement on LinkedIn.

Bolton Cargo is an asset-based carrier with a 15,000 sq.-ft. storage and crossdocking facility. It has a two-to-one trailer to truck ratio and is SmartWay, PIP and FAST-approved with a CTPAT-certified yard.
