Premier Bulk expands east with Longhorn Transportation acquisition
Premier Bulk Systems is expanding into the Maritime provinces by acquiring Longhorn Transportation in Berry Mills, N.B.
“We’re very excited to welcome our new teammates from Longhorn,” said Kevin Berry, founder and president of Premier Bulk Systems. “The addition of Longhorn into Premier’s operating network is highly complementary and leaves us well-positioned for ongoing commercial success and future growth.”

Longhorn Transportation was founded in 2004, and is a liquid bulk carrier specializing in transporting petroleum products, asphalt, acids and other chemicals.
“We are very excited to join the Premier team,” said Ryan Butland, founder and president of Longhorn Transportation. “The moment we started working together and building a relationship, we knew this was a great fit. Premier’s values, goals and work ethic align perfectly with the Longhorn brand. This relationship will continue to advance our team forward while continuing our commitment to safety and service for our valued customers.”
