TFI International has acquired Beauce, Que.-based carrier CMW Express and its subsidiary FRL Express. Headquartered in Sainte-Marie-de-Beauce, the company also has facilities in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce.

CMW Express was founded in 1997 by Renaud Champagne, who operated a single tractor-trailer at the time. Between 2012 and 2016, the company added yards in Boucherville, Montreal and Mississauga, Ont. It acquired FRL Express, of Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, in 2021. Today, it has a fleet of 50 trucks and 200 trailers and employs more than 80 people.
