THRC’s Take Our Kids to Work on Nov. 5
Trucking HR Canada (THRC) is helping people plan Take Our Kids to Work activities on Nov. 5.
Students across Canada will spend the day on the job with a parent, relative, friend, or volunteer experiencing a real workplace. This annual program that is in its 31st year, supports career development by helping students connect school, work, and their futures.
“Take Our Kids to Work is a unique opportunity to introduce young people to the many job and career options in our essential sector,” Angela Splinter, CEO, THRC, said in a news release.
To make it easier for employers to participate, THRC developed a set of resources, including a sample agenda and planning calendar to help companies prepare a fun, safe, and engaging experience.
