TCA awards over $175K in scholarships to 62 students
The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has awarded $176,725 in scholarships to 62 students for the 2025–26 academic year through its TCA Scholarship Fund, the association announced in a news release.
The program supports students associated with TCA member companies who are enrolled in two- or four-year college and university programs.
“The TCA Scholarship Fund remains one of the most valuable initiatives offered through TCA membership, providing an opportunity to give back and honor the legacy and future of the truckload industry,” said Joey Hogan, chairman of the TCA Scholarship Fund, in the release.
Since its launch in 1973, the fund has distributed millions of dollars in aid to students with ties to the trucking industry, TCA says. The Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges (OFIC) managed the application and selection process. Scholarships are awarded based on academic performance, work experience, and extracurricular involvement.
This year’s recipients include students affiliated with leading fleets such as Bison Transport, Kriska Holdings, Knight-Swift Transportation, Covenant Transport Services, and more.
