DOME LAMP CONTROLLER

Phillips Industries has come up with a new way to manage power to trailer interior dome lamps. The ‘Permalogic’ controller eliminates any chance of accidentally leaving dome lamps on by cutting off power to them when the brake pedal is depressed. Power is also interrupted when there’s an under/over battery voltage situation or at a pre-determined elapsed time. By automatically switching off
dome lamps in these circumstances, fleets can significantly reduce their lamp replacement costs, Phillips says.

The fully electronic and weatherproof Permalogic can handle up to six fluorescent lamps on a single circuit using standard 8-gauge interior trailer wiring. When installed with the LED ‘logic switch’, the controller has a multi-color LED that indicates the status of the trailer electrical system.
