Drivewyze Safety+ now available for Isaac ELD users
Isaac Instruments’ electronic logging device (ELD) users can now access Drivewyze Safety+, a proactive in-cab safety notification service, through a new integration between the two technology providers.
The integration enables Isaac’s customers to receive real-time safety alerts and driver coaching notifications through their existing ELDs. Drivewyze Safety+ is an extension of Drivewyze Free, and it offers additional safety alerts, such as upcoming severe weather, high-violation areas for speeding, high-risk areas for cargo theft, and more.
“We know that by working with Drivewyze to deliver these real-time alerts, we can help truck drivers avoid potential hazards, bad weather or other dangers that could threaten their safety and create unplanned downtime,” said Jacques DeLarochelliere, chief executive officer and co-founder of Isaac Instruments, in a news release.

Beyond pre-set alerts, Safety+ features back-office tools (geo-fencing) for fleets to create their own customized driver alerts, plus offers safety analytics to monitor driver behavior and improve driver coaching through the Drivewyze Hub. Drivewyze Safety+ requires no additional in-cab hardware and is delivered through the Isaac ELD.
Isaac users can also access Drivewyze Free, which provides continuous essential safety messaging, including alerts for high-rollover risk areas, low bridges, steep grades, chain-up stations, and runaway ramps. The system also delivers real-time traffic slowdowns and updates generated in partnership with select state transportation and enforcement agencies, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the Drivewyze Smart Roadways highway safety program for connected trucks.
