Drivewyze’s PreClear available in Newfoundland and Labrador

by Today's Trucking

Drivewyze’s PreClear weigh station bypass service is now available in Newfoundland and Labrador at six locations, serving nine sites. The province joins Ontario and Alberta, which also have the service.

Carriers are rewarded for their safety ratings with weigh station bypass privileges, and the service allows all Canadian-plated subscribed trucks over 4,500 kg (9,920 lbs) to avoid the lineups and wait times at the stations.

The locations include north and southbound of Goobies Highway Route 1, Pynn’s Brook Highway Route 1, and Channel-Port aux Basques Highway Route 1, as well as southbound of Foxtrap Highway Route 1 and Grand Falls-Windsor Highway Route 1, and Labrador West Route 500 westbound.
