Eaigle upgrades AVAC system for automated gate control
Eaigle has introduced AVAC Reimagined, the second generation of its Automated Vehicle Access Control (AVAC) system, designed to optimize yard and logistics operations with advanced automation and reduced costs.
The updated system requires 70% less hardware than its predecessor, lowering infrastructure costs and simplifying implementation for logistics facilities of all sizes, the company said in a news release, adding that the deployment time has also been reduced to one-third of the original.

AVAC Reimagined incorporates dynamic data capture capabilities, recording critical information such as truck, trailer, container, chassis, and USDOT numbers in real time, Eaigle says. The system also generates 360-degree visual records of vehicles, including top and side profiles, to support compliance with different standards while enabling damage detection.
The company claims the new system offers a modular design, allowing for scalability and adaptability to meet current and future regulatory and operational demands. Enhanced imaging and streamlined processes further optimize compliance and performance, making it suitable for high-velocity supply chains.
