Sloan Transportation Products has introduced a swing-away/shut-off gladhand sealer that means drivers don’t have to use a dummy coupler to seal air-delivery systems to keep them safe from crippling contaminants. It includes an integral shut-off valve and polyurethane gasket. According to the manufacturers, the 45-degree angle makes coupling and uncoupling faster, too. Sloan engineered this gladhand as a single unit with fewer components in an effort to decrease wear but maximize durability.
