Fleetio adds new capabilities

Fleetio has added four new features to its fleet maintenance management Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) platform.

New offerings include tire management, warranty management, sensor data snapshots, and enhanced service tasks.

Tire management allows fleet managers to gain real-time insights into tire health and performance, with details such as tread depth, air pressure, and usage data. Warranty management tracks standard and extended warranties, alerting mechanics about applicable policies and integrating warranty credits into work orders.

Sensor data snapshots provide sensor data to fleet managers so they can proactively detect and address potential vehicle problems. It’s initially being rolled out to Fleetio users who are integrated with Geotab or Samsara telematics platforms.

Enhanced service tasks streamline work order creation, improving technician productivity, the company says. It links service tasks to specific parts and expected labor hours, eliminating manual data entry.
