J. J. Keller boosts logbook training with instructional video access
J. J. Keller & Associates has introduced a QR code feature designed to improve manual logbook compliance by linking users to an instructional video.
The update provides a quick, visual guide showing drivers how to properly complete paper logs — a task many complete less frequently as electronic logging devices (ELDs) become the norm.
“Since most drivers rely on ELDs today, filling out a manual log may seem like a lost art,” said Tim Adam, industry business advisor at J. J. Keller, in a news release. “This quick video simplifies the process without the guesswork.”
The company said fewer drivers are familiar with manual logging procedures, which can lead to errors when paper records are required. The video serves as a refresher, helping reinforce proper log completion without relying on written manuals. J. J. Keller added the feature is particularly useful for drivers and fleets that only use paper logs occasionally, supporting more consistent and accurate recordkeeping.
