Peterson Manufacturing’s Genesis light targets uptime, visibility and compliance
Peterson Manufacturing debuted its Genesis Truck and Trailer Light at Work Truck Week in Indianapolis, saying the product is designed to maintain consistent illumination and eliminate partial-failure scenarios.
“This product is engineered to remove failure from the equation, not to manage it, not to define it, but to eliminate it,” said Al Anderson, vice president of sales and marketing at Peterson Manufacturing. “As long as there’s power, there’s light inside Genesis. Each LED operates independently. When one diode reaches the end of its life, the system instantly compensates. Output is automatically redistributed, with no flicker and no hesitation.”
Anderson said multiple LEDs often share the same circuit, so when one diode fails, it can take the entire circuit with it, turning a minor issue into a visibility and compliance concern.

For fleets, Peterson said that means reduced compliance uncertainty, lower roadside inspection risk, greater operational consistency and more predictable visibility in real-world conditions.
By removing ambiguity from lighting performance, Genesis Truck and Trailer Light help fleets focus on uptime rather than inspection interpretation, while reinforcing the link between consistent illumination and roadway safety, the company added.
