Smith System unveils new brand identity, enhances Driver Risk Management platform
Smith System has launched a new brand redesign as part of its effort to modernize fleet and driver safety programs.
The Arlington, Texas-based company says the rebrand reflects its shift toward connected safety offerings that integrate data analytics, mobile coaching, and telematics into its Smith5Keys method. The 5Keys program, which trains drivers to see more, think ahead, and maintain control, has been in use worldwide for more than 70 years, the company said in a news release.
“Our new identity reflects the innovative, accessible, and data-driven company we are today,” said Derek Dunaway, CEO of Smith System. “It honors our legacy of saving lives while signaling a bold future built on connected driver safety solutions.”

The rebrand includes a new logo and a redesigned website, optimized for mobile use.
At the center of Smith System’s rebranding is its enhanced Driver Risk Management platform, which, the company says, fuses The Smith5Keys behavior-based safety philosophy with modern analytics, mobile coaching, and corrective action recommendations. The platform enables fleets to digitize training, monitor driver improvement, and automate corrective action when needed. Drivers receive scorecards based on the Smith5Keys and can access mobile telematics feedback and coaching.
Smith System delivers its services in more than 20 languages across more than 100 countries, according to the release.
