TRIPAC APU IMPROVED
With its new 1000-hour maintenance interval, service on a TriPac auxiliary power
unit from Thermo King can be performed at the same time as maintenance on the
tractor, saving time and money. Actual maintenance intervals are even further
extended when the auto start/stop function is taken into account since it turns the TriPac on only when needed, saving hours. The TriPac APU provides bunk heat, engine pre-heat, air conditioning, accessory power and battery charging while
reducing idling and conserving fuel. Since idle time is reduced, wear and tear on the truck engine is also reduced.
