TORONTO, Ont. — How often does Toronto have a great truckers’ dance? Not often enough, according to the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre.

The group behind the mobile museum exhibit Highway Workplace: the Canadian Trucker’s Story, is hosting the event as a fundraiser Feb. 14, in Toronto.

On the musical menu are The Daisy DeBolt Trio, the Matadors, and Uncle Herb and Ferdinand Blom.

Tickets are available in advance for $15 each or $25 couple (includes buffet and door prizes), from the 360 Club, or the Workers Arts and Heritage Centre, 51 Stuart Street, Hamilton, Ont.

Call 416-604-2680 for details or e-mail hrudolfs@sprint.ca
All proceeds will go to the mobile museum exhibit, set to begin travelling across Canada in 2005.
