WELDING HELMET

The new Snap-on  high-definition welding helmet with grind-lockout feature (YA4606) is a fully-adjustable, auto-darkening welding helmet that offers both clarity and a wide viewing area, the company says. It can handle multiple welding processes.

The helmet’s four arc sensors provide a wide range of sensitivity which will trigger the lens from multiple angles.

The auto-darkening lens automatically turns to a darkened state when triggered by a light source such as welding, while the grind feature allows the helmet to be used as a face shield without darkening the lens. The viewing area is a full 3.74 x 3.35 in.

The shade is fully adjustable from # 9 to 13 for multiple welding processes, and an adjustable delay holds the lens in a darkened state for a period of time after welding.
