Corman Park, Sask., police parked a semi Feb. 1 that was partially held together by duct tape.

“On Feb. 1, 2026, a Corman Park officer became aware of a semi-truck deemed unfit for travel on Highway 11 within the Rural Municipality of Corman Park,” the police posted on Facebook.

“Upon locating the vehicle, it was found to be in a condition rendering it unfit for service, featuring smashed side windows covered with duct tape, a severely damaged windshield obstructing the driver’s view, and a driver’s side mirror held together with duct tape.”

The truck was put out of service pending a Periodic Motor Vehicle Inspection. The driver was charged with multiple citations and the carrier notified.

  • To promote road safety you should provide the transport companies’ name as well as the drivers. That way shippers looking for quality carriers to hire and for those carriers who are actively recruiting drivers can add these names to their do not hire list.

  • Whats with the publication ban on the drivers and the companies names. Law enforcement does the public no service by keeping the names secret and the media does the same. Publish their names, let the public put pressure on these folks to either do the right thing or close up shop and head back to south asia. Looks like a “Slipper Transport” unit if I was to guess

    • Well now Road Pilot, clearly, you had to get some racist thoughts off your chest so it’s not surprising you’re not using your actual name. It’s actually folks such as yourself who are the problem with society as a whole, not just the trucking industry. You have no idea who was driving this unit or who actually owns it. Yet, you felt the need to throw some of your ‘intelligent’ insight out there on the geographic origin of the driver and/or owner. I’d like to give you a friendly piece of advice; read up on your rules of grammar next time you feel like making a complete fool out of yourself. Better yet, keep your thoughts to yourself.
