Tyre Protector (North America) has traditionally offered EcoFins as a tool to reduce drag by “spinning” the air at the back end of a vehicle. Now the underlying “vortex generators” are being put to another use.

The company has unveiled EcoFins side skirts for trailers, complete with a claim that it will better the fuel mileage of competing side skirts by up to 20%.
