Thermo King has unveiled the E-200 fully electric refrigeration unit for small- and medium-sized vans and trucks.

Promising lower noise and reduced weight, it requires no road compressor or drive kit. It has a power management system that reduces energy consumption, too.

Central to the unit is a tailor-made inverter, a variable speed compressor for precise temperature controls, and a smart controller to manage power supply and demand.
