The 2016 edition of Smart Trucker seminar series will begin with the first session to be held on Saturday March 5th at Capitol Banquet Hall, 6435 Dixie Road in Mississauga (Dixie/Courtneypark).

The seminar series aims to offer advanced techniques based on practical experience and industry success stories. Leadership, business, time management, customer service, profit centers in trucking, and safety will be the focus of this series.

Former OTA Road Knight Mike Hahn, Vickie de Vos, Andy Malion, OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt, Bruce Outridge and Manan Gupta will provide updates on Electronic Log Devices (ELDs), Electronic On Board Recorders (EOBRs), prevention of wheel off incidents, new drug testing rules, CMV winter driving safety plus many timely topics during the seminar. Registration and breakfast is from 8 to 9 am followed by sessions, tea and lunch breaks. The seminar will end at 3.30 pm.
