The investigation revealed that the space had been rented by Satwinder Singh, and all six trailers had been re-VINed.

Inside, officers discovered approximately $56,000 worth of stolen property that had been previously reported to police.

On July 22, Singh, 24, was arrested and charged with six counts of tampering with vehicle identification number and seven counts of possession of property obtained by crime.

He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date. Charges have not yet been proven in court.

    • Police is doing great work , these people are criminal mindset with very little chance to reform to fit in the society, tough punishment is recommended followed by deportation, no mercy.

  • They just released him to steal more. Bail laws must be updated not spoken about for the next federal election. Freeze assets pending outcome . Send them to Bishoi once found guilty.

  • Will probably get a small fine and a bit of probation..free to do it all over again, under a different name.. what SHOULD happen.. if found guilty and convicted, should be deported immediately, along with all members of immediate family, i.e. wife, kids, mother, father, brothers, sisters.. if the word gets out that the penalties for criminal behaviour are severe, that may act as a deterent.

  • You know once upon a time you had to worry about the mafia that controlled what happened.
Then you had to worry about the oranganised gangs.
Now instead we have to worry about the bottom of the barrel that are beloved Justin Trudeau brought to are great country for the sake of what.

Mayhem and inflation increase in insurance rates for EVERYONE else to suffer with.
We need better time for the people who are committing these things.
Send the ones back to their own country and any other that are natural born here. They should not be able to get back to society for 20 years minimum.
    This is only my opinion.

  • He is not alone he is part of a gang so releasing him means gang will take care of him.
Why police don’t arrest other gang members?
This guy is a technicial his job is to revin the trailers but I am sure he is not the one who will sell them.

  • Too many in this community have no respect for the residents. Especially by laws that forbids the posting on traffic lights.
They have messed up the traffic lights that cause a distraction to drivers.
    And the city does nothing.

  • Catch and release, put them in jail for a minimum amount of time. If they are not citizens, automatic deport.

  • People immigrated from other countries that commit serious offences should be deported evan if they are new Canadians they have no respect for Canadian laws!
