Canoo furloughs employees, idles plant
Another electric vehicle startup has taken extreme measures to continue operations as it seeks financing.
Canoo, which builds electric commercial vehicles and has touted large sales of delivery vehicles to companies including Walmart and the U.S. Postal Service, furloughed 82 salaried and hourly employees before Christmas.

This came as it idled its Oklahoma factory while it continues to “secure the capital necessary to move forward with its operations,” the company said in a release, adding it’s in advanced discussions with various lenders.
Canoo said, “We regret having to furlough our employees, especially during the holidays, but we have no choice at this point. We are hopeful that we will be able to bring them back to work soon.”
Recently, Canadian EV makers Lion Electric and Vicinity Motor Corp., sought creditor protection and entered receivership, respectively. And hydrogen fuel-cell-electric truck maker Hyzon announced it will wind down operations due to lack of funding.

ups … climate change isn’t a lie. But I think fossil fuel industry and their oligarchs don’t like regenerative energy because this is an energy form no one can control (in form of supply and demand … renewables are just there, on whole world, for every one).
It’s time that the scam of climate change with it’s propaganda surrounding EV automobiles, wind turbines and solar panel farms disappeared off the face of the entire earth!
The taxpayers can no longer afford this United Nations agenda 2030 lie!
