Addition to Fergus Truck Show Sure to Freak You Out

FERGUS, ON — Attention all zombies. Do NOT attend the Fergus Truck Show on Saturday, July 28.

On Friday the 27th or Sunday the 29th, by all means zombies, go.

But all day Saturday, roaming the Show grounds will be the famous gangrene-colored Zombie Truck; the go-to undead-disposal unit and the bane of immortals everywhere. So if you’re a zombie, you’ll get scooped up and disposed of.

In addition to the regular line up of trucks, entertainers and internal-combustion-centered activities that have become trademarks of the Fergus Truck Show, this year’s lineup includes two new features on Saturday: the Mighty Machines Showcase; and the aforementioned Zombie truck.

The Mighty Machines, to most people, is a kids’ video series but the Mighty Machines Showcase is a hands-on chance for young people (and old, too) to see, feel and get to know the machines that keep our economy growing

As for the zombie trucks, all you need to do is click here for a delightful, cleverly produced half-a-coffee-break-long video clip of the zombie truck that will make you want to attend.

The Fergus Show is of course the largest truck show event of its kind in North America, both in paid attendance and the number of the big truck ‘Show & Shine’ contestants. There’s more than $150-million worth of trucks, trailers, equipment, accessories and more, on display. It’s always a great time for truck and music lovers.

And this year’s Saturday night headliners? The Pride of Portage La Prairie, Doc Walker:
