Dana’s new drives

Dana Corp.’s Commercial Vehicle Systems Division is thinking ahead. The company’s new Dana Spicer S23-190, S26-190, and S30-190 single drive axles-the S190 Series, collectively-can handle drivetrain ratings of up to 2,450 pounds-feet of torque and 700 horsepower.

The S23-190 has a gross axle weight (GAW) rating of 23,000 pounds; the S26-190 is rated at 26,000 pounds;
and the S30-190 is rated at 30,000 pounds. Gear ratios range from 2.69 to 7.83 on the S23-190 model to allow for flexibility in spec’ing options; the S26-190 and S30-190 models range from 3.42 to 7.83. Contact: www.roadranger.com or
