DOT’s truck parking coalition to hold virtual meeting on March 4

The U.S. Department of Transportation announced it is holding a virtual meeting of the National Coalition on Truck Parking on March 4. 

Officials from the Federal Highway Administration, DOT Office of Multimodal Freight Infrastructure and Policy, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and the Maritime Administration have been invited to present on the status of truck parking funding, planning, and development.

DOT said that following the meeting, the recording will be posted online. The Coalition’s website includes information on past meetings dating back to 2015. 

The Federal Highway Administration is also still accepting responses until Feb. 27 on its updated “Jason’s Law” truck parking survey.
