KELOWNA, B.C. — IVS Intelligent Vehicle Systems experienced a significant increase in new product six-month sales with a partnership with Rentar Environmental Solutions and Chemplex Automotive Group.

The Rentar diesel fuel catalyst has a diverse application and IVS has acquired considerable interest from companies in the trucking industry. Companies using the Rentar diesel fuel catalyst system have reported improved fuel efficiency.

A heavy-duty truck using $80,000 in diesel fuel per year, experiencing a 15 per cent fuel saving with the Rentar system would save $12,000 each year. Based on a retail price of $2,395, an operator can achieve quick payback.
