Kleenoil Revamps Filter
Kleenoil Filtration Canada has redesigned its 9778-model fine-particulate filter assembly for engine oil and hydraulic fluid.
The unit is installed off-line and will filter out dirt and wear metal particles to one micron. The cartridge is also able to remove more than half a litre of water from the fluid being filtered. The company says keeping the contamination as low as one micron and removing water from the fluid will increase the fluid life as well as reduce internal component wear.
The company sells two other sizes of units and offers a fully contained filtration cart.
