NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. — The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada (PMTC) revealed today the date and venue of its 2017 conference and annual general meeting.

The event is to be held June 15-16 at the Crowne Plaza-Fallsview, in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It is well known for addressing the issues and challenges facing our industry – particularly those involved with private trucking – and how to effectively manage them. Normally the event is held  in King City, but this year the council decided to shake things up.

“Every year this conference proves itself to be the single best opportunity for everyone involved with transportation to learn and network,” said PMTC president Mike Millian.  “We are excited to be moving to a new venue this year as well. The Crowne Plaza-Fallsview, will prove to be an excellent facility for our conference. Our sponsors will be excited about the expanded space that is available for our exhibitor’s showcase, which will increase display space and allow for improved networking between our sponsors and conference attendees. Niagara Falls will also offer a great backdrop for those who wish to explore the sights and sounds at the end of the days educational and networking events.”

Organizers say the conference agenda will include seven educational seminars, as well as itsawards program and networking opportunities at the exhibitor’s showcase.  Speakers and other details are already in the final stages, and will be available on the PMTC website soon, according to the group.
