Private fleets show off their iron bling

KING CITY, Ont. — It’s safe to say that few trucking carriers take as much pride in the look and style of their equipment as Canada’s private truck fleets.

Each year at the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada‘s annual conference attendees are wowed by the graphic eye candy displayed by the 2010 Vehicle Graphics Design competition finalists. This year’s winning lineup included Canada’s top donut and coffee chain as well as the NHL.

This is the 25th year of the most colorful awards in the trucking community and presentations were made during the PMTC’s annual general meeting in King City, Ont.

"The number of entries has set records in each of the past three years which confirms the interest that companies have in promoting their products and services through illustrative graphics," said PMTC President Bruce Richards.
