Stock tip: Go long on Montreal

MONTREAL — Pssssssst.. Over here!

Want something you badly need but haven’t had much of recently? That’s right. We’re talking….good news. Business information that’ll brighten your day.

Here it is. Despite all the talk of lay-offs, downturns and politicians who spend like, well, politicians, ExpoCam 2009, Canada’s national truck show, is going great guns.

ExpoCam, slated for Thursday April 16 to Saturday April 18th at Montreal’s Place Bonaventure, has already taken more than 12,000 registrants. It’s going to be a huge gathering of the most influential people in the trucking industry, and upwards of 280 exhibitors are preparing to show their stuff.

“We are thrilled that more than 12,000 industry members have already registered for ExpoCam," says Elizabeth McCullough, Show Manager. “For senior managers and owners, it’s a one-stop source of information on products they need to operate more efficiently. Based on advance registration, we are on track for a record turn out. They will see everything they need on an exhibit floor that is already more than 90 percent booked," she said.

ExpoCam is a product of Newcom Business Media, the same company that produces this website and its affiliated magazines, Today’s Trucking, highwaySTAR, Truck And Trailer, Tranport Routier and Logistics.
