Taylor Made expands frozen Tundra

Taylor Made Environmental
Taylor Made Environmental is unveiling several improvements for its Tundra line of refrigerators and freezers.

The new line is getting a redesigned door latch system that the company says is more intuitive, and easier to use, with a new attractive tapered shape and latching mechanism. The doors are also being constructed with pre-drilled holes for opposite side mounting, making it easier to switch from right-hand to left-hand opening. The company will also add a standard interior light in all front-loading refrigerator models. The light mechanism, is activated by a magnetic switch, eliminating the need for any moving parts.

The company is expanding the Tundra line with several new models. The T42RE is a refrigerator-only model without an interior freezer compartment. It is designed to be installed side-by-side with the TF38 freezer unit for truckers needing ample space for refrigeration and freezing. Also new for 2003 is the T12U-R, a compact front-loading refrigerator unit with a remotely mounted compressor unit, making it easier to mount the unit in a smaller space with limited depth.
