Truck-Lite’s history is marked by a series of milestones, the company says. Those include what the company calls the world’s first independent ground wiring system, introduced in 1962, and expansion into harness systems with the ‘world’s first sealed wiring harness’ in 1979. In the ’90s, Truck-Lite introduced LED stop/tail/turn lamps to the military market and expanded globally through acquisitions in 2000s.

“We appreciate the contribution of all our 1,000-plus employees, distributors, and loyal customers in maintaining our uninterrupted success as a supplier to the commercial vehicle industry,” said Jon Stineman, president of Truck-Lite, in the release. “Our U.S. manufacturing footprint, totaling more than 310,000 square feet across three primary Pennsylvania locations, certainly supports our commitment to satisfying our customers’ demands on time.”
